The composite ceramic and 3D printed part tomography system adopts terahertz technology as a substitute for X-rays in the field of composite materials, which poses no radiation hazard to humans. This system is suitable for the inspection of new technology composite honeycomb ceramics such as alumina and zirconia, as well as 3D printed parts widely used in industries such as chemical, power, metallurgy, petroleum, electronics and machinery.
This system can measure the thickness of different precious metal coatings, inspect hidden structures, delamination, debonding, and other non-uniform internal defects.
The measurement range resolution of this system ranges from tens to several millimeters, with an accuracy of up to 1um depending on the material.
