The online terahertz detection system for composite materials adopts terahertz technology, which replaces X-rays in the field of composite materials and poses no radiation hazard to humans. This system is suitable for testing the composite layer of various sizes of non-metallic automotive composite parts such as carbon fiber composite car doors, front bumper buffer brackets, front end frames, molded car bottom guards, shells, high-temperature baked paint and paint blasting, as well as propellers and wind turbine blades up to 8.5 meters in length.
This system is capable of measuring the thickness of composite layers, inspecting hidden structures, delamination, debonding, and other non-uniform internal defects.
The measurement range resolution of this system ranges from tens to several millimeters, with an accuracy of up to 1um depending on the material.
